ePoGeeS is a Poetry Generation Sketchbook

The program below is an Java applet compiled with a 1.4 platform. It may take a minute or two to load, even if it does run for you.

I write poetry, and have studied computer science; this is my sketchbook. It involves supervised poetry generation with phonemic evaluation using class- and type-based n-gram models. It was inspired by the textbook example of n-gram poetry generation in Jurafsky and Martin (2000), as well as by (Trowridge, 2008) and (Manurung, 2003); it is similar in some ways to (Hervas et al, 2007).
